Choose Great Smiles for Full Mouth and Full Arch Cosmetic Restorations
Full mouth and full arch dental reconstruction involves the use of many different techniques in dentistry to create not only a highly-cosmetic case but also to correct the relationship between gums, bones, muscles, and teeth. Because the mouth is a complex machine; without a proper bite, chewing can become impaired, teeth can become worn, the jaw, head, neck and back can become sore, and even cause migraines.
For these reasons, Great Smiles, Inc. Dental Laboratory has been committed to providing dentists with all the necessary tools and assistance in full mouth and full arch reconstruction for your patients. Our highly-skilled laboratory technicians provide you with valuable case evaluation, planning, and creation of your patient’s dental restorations, from start to finish.
The first step will be to evaluate the patient’s bite, considering the clinical symptoms andaesthetic requirements. We will mount your patient’s models on our top of the line Stratos 100 fully adjustable articulator, with table guides, utilizing the hamular notches along with the incisive papilla and compare to the stick bite and photos you provide.
When ready to proceed, Great Smiles will prepare the stone models, fabricate the diagnostic wax-up, bite and temp matrix. We will provide a prep model for you that will serve as a guide chair-side, as well as the matrix that aids in placing temporaries. The diagnostic wax-up itself can be a great sales tool. The dentist and patient can visualize the final outcome and evaluate overall contour and aesthetics prior to preparation and fabrication of the final restorations.
The dentist can then utilize smile design catalogs to help determine the smile design, shape, size, and proportion of the teeth, and how they appear in relation to the gums, lips, mouth, side profile, and face. With the combined expertise of doctor and technician, we can provide your patient with multiple options to achieve a successful, life-changing case outcome.
